Video shows short scenes from Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Nintendo does not give a deep look at the gameplay in the new video spot for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but it does contain a few short sequences that show the islanders in action, such as handling an ax.
Players have to collect resources in the Life-Sim, including chopping wood, planting flowers or catching insects, but also discovering archaeological finds and exploring the island world. In this way, new residents join the island community over and over again as the game progresses.
A central game element will also be collecting so-called nook miles, a point currency that can be used for in-game purchases. In this way, players arrive as pieces of furniture or goodies, for example for decoration.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will offer a multiplayer mode: locally for up to four players, online for up to eight.
