A fantasy world full of fairies, forest spirits and other mythical creatures

At the end of August, Amazon is waiting with a new Amazon Original. Carnival Row is a fantasy drama series in which all kinds of mythical creatures such as fairies and forest spirits can be seen. It will initially start in the English original version, a dubbing is in progress and will appear in the course of the year.

The story takes place in a Victorian fantasy world. Mythological fantasy beings had to flee from their exotic homelands as they were conquered by humans. They now live among the people, but many prohibitions have been placed on them. So they are not allowed to live, love or fly freely. Now the main characters of the series, the human detective Rycroft Philostrate and the fairy Vignette Stonemoss, fall in love and dare to have an affair. However, Vignette keeps a secret that could bring down the previous human world.

Philostrate and Vignette are embodied by Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne. Orlando is well known for his role as Legolas in Lord of the Rings, even in Pirates of the Caribbean, many saw him on screen. Cara Delevingne started her career as a model and over time she has also become an actress. Her most famous films are Suicide Squad and Valerian - the city of a thousand planets.
