Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition tells an independent sci-fi story that focuses on the self-created game character. Adventurers can customize the appearance of their avatar as well as its class, and the challenging combat system also offers them plenty of scope to pursue their own unique playing style.
First, players must prove themselves within the BLADE organization. After that, they will receive a powerful Skell: a huge, customizable mech whose abilities are just as indispensable for exploring the planet as they are for fighting the threats native to Mira.
But building a new home requires many helping hands. Therefore, players will regularly come into contact with the residents of NLA, who will ask them for small and large favors. If they strengthen the harmony with their teammates, they will gain access to new missions that will give them new equipment and other rewards. They can also join an online team1 to combine their forces in multiplayer missions, including particularly challenging Nemesis battles. Adventurers can also recruit other players' avatars as team members for their single-player story mode.
With the definitive version, the world of Xenoblade Chronicles X will be even bigger. And what is the story behind the mysterious hooded figure on the beach? This and more will be revealed when players head back to Mira on March 20, 2025.
