Paradox Interactive, the publisher of games you can’t put down, announced that two new DLC packs for Across the Obelisk will be available next week for PC and Nintendo Switch to be published.
Across the Obelisk, a roguelite deck-building RPG with a unique cooperative multiplayer experience, is getting a new Hero Pack: Nenukil, the Engineer and a new Story Pack: The Obsidian Uprising, both releasing for these platforms on May 15. A major free content update, which also includes localization in French and German, will be available on the same day.

Across the Obelisk is a dynamic rogue-lite deck-builder from Dreamsite Games with a unique multiplayer spin that brings role-playing elements and cooperative strategy to the tabletop. The two new DLC packs allow players to expand both the variety of gameplay options and the narrative experience by adding a new hero and game world to their collection. Nenukil, the Engineer is a new Scout-class character with new gameplay mechanics, including a dynamic skin that changes throughout the game.

The Obsidian Uprising adds a new story map that takes players back 30 years to the dwarven city of Black Forge, where they'll discover an exciting new chapter in Senenthia's history and gain access to a new customizable pet. Both packs expand the game with additional content such as new card backs, pets, and more. Each pack will be available individually for 4,99 euros (RRP).
In addition to the two new DLC packs, a free content update for Across the Obelisk will be released on May 15. This update features full localization of the game and all content into German and French, improvements to the game's sound design, more hero-specific options for narrative events, game balance improvements, and more.
