With “Legends of Power” the collectible card game Star Wars Unlimited Into the next round – and it couldn't be much closer to the mystical ideas from George Lucas' science-fantasy epic. The focus of the new sets is the Force – and with it, Jedi, lightsabers, and special attacks.
From the beginning, Star Wars Unlimited It was clear that Force characters would sooner or later become much more of a focus. This wasn't the case in the first four sets, but with Legends of the Force, everything changes for fans of Jedi and Sith, including gameplay. The gameplay revolves noticeably more around popular lightsaber wielders, who no longer come exclusively from Disney's official canon.
Through the "Legends" feature, Fantasy Flight Games can also access those Star Wars content that has become an integral part of the fantasy universe for die-hard fans: These include, above all, old books and video games. The most well-known example: Revan makes his grand appearance in Star Wars Unlimited.

Over 260 new cards are coming into play with the launch of Legends of the Force. This is hardly surprising and has become standard in Star Wars Unlimited. As with previous sets, there are also some gameplay innovations this time around. The "Hidden" keyword is making its way into games – ensuring increased survivability, not just for cards that directly carry the keyword.
Also new: the power tokens. These must be generated and used to trigger powerful abilities and attacks. To ensure balance, the game focuses on bases with only 28 hit points. Legends of Power is all about mystical power. These gameplay innovations fit perfectly into the expansion's concept. In other words, the developers have nailed the thematic design.
The fact that there's a fair amount of fan service along the way only makes the new release even better. Famous Jedi, numerous illustrated movie sequences, and a focus on the authentic Star Wars feel make Legends of the Force one of the best card sets to date. The new set will be available in stores on July 11th.
Available for purchase are two spotlight decks for “Legends of the Force” centered around Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn, individual boosters or entire displays, a pre-release box, and the Carbonite boosters known from the previous expansion, which are once again intended to appeal particularly to collectors.
The release of the new cards is accompanied by accessories from Gamegenic. Matching card sleeves, playmats, deck boxes, and collector's binders are also available for Legends of Power.
