Ubisoft has not confirmed the supposed release window at the end of 2024 - on the contrary: the publisher stated that a release late this year would be incorrect.
The release window of Star Wars Outlaws has corrected Ubisoft again: the information in a Disney blog post has been removed and replaced with significantly less precise information. Instead of late in 2024, it now simply says, the first open world game in Star Warsuniverse would appear “2024”.

Fans of the game would certainly have been happy if the information about the at least somewhat more concrete release window “late in 2024” had been correct. But according to a Ubisoft spokesman, it doesn't. The publisher acted quickly and had the detail removed and replaced.
Now fans have to raise money again and hope that Ubisoft will announce the correct date sooner or later. Many fans had accepted the new open world game Star Wars Outlaws would be released sometime towards the end of the year. Because this has now been officially proven to be false, there is no concrete information about the publication.
At least there is now a chance that the title will appear earlier than initially assumed. However, the fact that Ubisoft has not yet officially announced a release window speaks against this - so fans should not expect the game, at least in the short term. So what the release date will ultimately look like remains to be seen. After all, the year 2024 seems to be right or is still being targeted. Star Wars Outlaws will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
