Star Wars Jedi Survivor, the second part of the Star Wars Jedi series, has been very well received by fans and in reviews. Completing the series as a trilogy is almost certain. And apparently the third part is already in development. At least that's what a job advertisement at Respawn Entertainment suggests.
Given the success of both of them Star Warsgames, a third part wouldn't be a big surprise. And apparently Respawn Entertainment is already busy developing the successor to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. At least that's what can be seen from a current job advertisement. As Tech4Gamers discovered, the developers have posted advertisements for several open positions in the Star Wars Jedi team, which suggest work on a new part.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was also a hit
The job advertisements not only represent a new part of the... Star Wars Jedi series, but are interesting in two ways. For the Senior VFX Artist area, Respawn Entertainment lists experience with Unreal Engine 5 as an application plus. The successor may therefore be developed on the basis of the new, significantly more powerful graphics engine. The first tech demos already showed impressive images. The step is consistent, after all the current second part of the series has already been released for the current-gen consoles.

The Senior Combat Designer is expected to have a passion for close combat, which also at least vaguely hints at the gameplay of Star Wars Jedi there. The fact that the job search is a third-person game becomes clear from the Principal Game Writer's listing. The signs of Star Wars Jedi 3 are increasing, even if nothing in this direction has been officially confirmed.

Stig Asmussen from Respawn Entertainment stated at the beginning of the year that he always saw the game's story as a trilogy. So it's pretty certain that a third part of the successful series will come. Asmussen also brought Unreal Engine 5 into play. Electronic Arts announced in the spring that they were quite satisfied with the sales figures of the successor. The numbers were “very strong”, EA was already talking about millions of players at this early point in time after the release, but overall expectations were probably higher.
