After a brief test of patience, spring is finally beckoning at Movie Park Germany. Starting April 4, the theme park in North Rhine-Westphalia invites visitors to a mix of new and familiar shows and events. Visitors will be transported even deeper into the atmosphere of an American film set in 2025. In addition to the attractions, the focus will be on entertainment. This will be ensured by a new stunt team and illusionist Christian Farla, among others. Fans can also look forward to the popular Christmas and Halloween events.
The operators of Movie Park Germany in Bottrop have announced a potpourri of entertainment, shows, and events for the upcoming season. At the same time, fans of the "The Lost Temple" attraction are disappointed. The 2024D simulator, which has been closed for renovations since 4, will not reopen for the time being, contrary to expectations. According to a press release from the theme park, the attraction will be revamped in the future, including a new storyline. Previously, visitors to the Lost Temple experienced a prehistoric dinosaur expedition.
Events, shows and attractions
Apparently, there's little time for bad moods. In addition to a new show announcement from illusionist Christian Farla, whose performances starting July 7 will include "The Showgirl Box" from Las Vegas and what Movie Park calls "the greatest illusion act in the world: Drill of Death," a new stunt team has also been announced. The experienced ensemble will be in Studio 6, performing new car and biker stunts. The Movie Park entertainment crew also has a new version of the saloon show in store, and the Van Helsing Club and the New York Plaza stage will also be used for new musical songs and shows with pop and western elements to entertain park visitors.
Special events in 2025 include the ELITE Stunt & Dance Championship and the ELITE Cheerleading Championship, during which international and national athletes will demonstrate their skills. On Camera Day, amateur and professional photographers as well as content creators can take advantage of the theme park's atmosphere on a closing day. During the US Car Show and the Spotlight, Movie Park fans' cars will become part of American entertainment. Also this year, the Halloween Horror Festival and Movie Park's Hollywood Christmas, which will be broadcast live, will be held. Ticket purchasing also has a new feature. Starting this season, tickets for two adults and three children, or for one adult and three children, can be booked for a specific date via the Movie Park Germany webshop. Ticket prices are lowest when booked at least six days in advance of your visit, starting at €6 for two adults and three children and €134,90 for one adult and three children.
