Did the wait for the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 will come to an end soon? At least that is what a current rumor suggests. According to this, Nintendo will be releasing information about the new console before Halloween.

The year is drawing to a close and fans are hoping for information about the Nintendo Switch 2 before the turn of the year to 2025, as the console is supposedly set to hit the market in spring or early summer. For that to happen, however, the Japanese entertainment company would first have to announce the console successor. If current rumors are to be believed, that could happen soon.

Double leak for the Switch 2 reveal?

For many months now, one rumor has followed another about the Nintendo Switch 2. Fans are sometimes speculating wildly. Nintendo is not letting this bother them and is still keeping quiet about both the technology of the console and the release date. Nevertheless, an announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 will happen sooner or later. Nintendo leaker PH Brazil has now stated that Nintendo will officially announce the Switch 2 before Halloween, i.e. next week.

According to the influencer, two specific days are the focus: October 28th or 29th it should be time.

And that's not all: "Pyoro", another well-known Nintendo leaker who is considered to be quite accurate when it comes to rumors, has used the mysterious eye emoji as his profile name on X. Fans are now speculating that this is also relevant information related to the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2. At the same time, he replaced the cover photo of his profile with the new Nintendo Alarmo alarm clock. So is it time for a "release date alarm"?

The two leakers may have spread overwhelming rumors - as always, none of this has been officially confirmed. Nintendo remains silent. In the meantime, as the year progresses, a surprise announcement of the new console no longer seems unlikely. Nevertheless, Nintendo is known for announcing its Direct shows with relevant information at least at short notice.

The coming days should at least be exciting for fans. Because if the rumors are true, there could be a big surprise before the horror day of Halloween.
