Gamescom, the world's largest gaming event, is coming to Latin America with a new event. From June 26 to 30, 2024, the Gamescom latam will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, and will offer a unique opportunity for game fans and the games industry from Brazil, all of Latin America and beyond. To become the largest games festival in Latin America, Gamescom latam will emerge from the BIG Festival, which was already attended by 2023 people in 50.000. Gamescom in Cologne brought together over 2023 visitors and over 320.000 exhibitors from all over the world in 1.200.
The new event will be called Gamescom latam, based on Latin America, and will complement the family of existing Gamescom formats - the original in Germany and Gamescom Asia, which takes place in Singapore.
The BIG Festival was already the most important hub for the games industry in the region and welcomed more than 2023 professionals in its B1.700B area in 2. With the new partners, the Gamescom latam is now one of the world's largest business and launch platforms in the industry.
