With Enshrouded the video game library becomes unified RPG-Action fans once again enlarge. In the game developed by Keen Games, players have to fight their way through the huge empire “Embervale”. This was affected by a plague, the so-called “Shroud”, which, to make matters worse, is still spreading. You play the game from the perspective of Flameborn, the “last hope of a dying people”.
Everyone is your enemy
As in almost all survival games, combat is an elementary part of the game in Enshrouded. Proper attacking and defense go hand in hand here, because without the right combat skills things can quickly get tricky here. What's more, the enemies couldn't be more different. If you are just fighting against normal looters in the forests of Embervale, a few minutes later you will find yourself in an epic battle against the countless creatures that have been attacked by the Shroud.
Guns, guns and more guns
Enemies are lurking everywhere, so it's advisable to be prepared for any situation. With the help of self-built workshops you have the opportunity to create all kinds of weapons and armor. These are sorely necessary in order not to die a hero's death right at the beginning. There is a suitable selection for every type of player. A sword for those who like it rustic, or a bow and arrow for those who would rather avoid direct conflict. A shield for personal protection is of course part of every warrior's repertoire.
Every ruin tells its story
Long exploration tours are not always exciting, but they give every survival game that certain something. In Enshrouded you will also have to complete many of them in order to learn more about yourself, but also about the realm of Embervale. To do this, caves must be crossed and dungeons explored. Secret treasures are also waiting for you in one place or another.
Enshrouded can even be played in co-op
If you don't want to fight your way through the infected realm of Embervale alone, you can simply call on your allies to help you. Enshrouded also comes with a co-op mode that is suitable for up to 16 players. Each player is assigned an individual role, which in turn ensures a realistic RPG experience.
