The 4X strategy game Dune: Spice Wars is released in full version today, after a hugely successful Early Access on Steam. In addition to House Ecaz, now the sixth faction with an individual play style, today's update 1.0 sees the game receive some improvements in the areas of manpower, water, storms and more.

Start of the publishing phase
The full version brings with it the sixth major update since Dune: Spice Wars went into early access - excluding the many community updates that specifically respond to player feedback. In that time, the game has exploded in scope, adding multiplayer, Conquest mode, House Corrino, new buildings, military units, air units, regions, tutorials, quality of life additions and much more.
House Ecaz is a new playable faction with unique strengths: their mastery of the arts and a unique approach to expanding their influence across Arrakis. With a well-trained and proud military, they are a powerful opponent on a deadly planet where the greatest powers in the universe already compete.
Community feedback was an important part of the development of Dune: Spice Wars throughout Early Access. The launch update addresses several community requests and brings improvements in the areas of manpower, water and utilities, assassinations, sietches and storms.
