While the second part of the Dune film is still a while away, Shiro Games and Funcom are going all out with Dune: Spice Wars: On September 14th, the 4x grand strategy game will leave early access and get a new one playable faction. House Ecaz adds elegance and political sophistication to the power struggle on Arrakis and is now the sixth playable faction. Many other updates and improvements were also added during Early Access based on community feedback.
The new arrivals of House Ecaz wield the instruments of power like a brush and are rapidly expanding their influence on Arrakis, where the sun and sandworms devour everything. Their prestigious works of art give them an unusual position of power in the Landsraad, allowing them to rival even the Atreides in terms of influence.
Dune: Spice Wars 1.0

The sheer size, Machiavellian machinations and brutal daggers in the back are reflected in every facet of the gameplay. Thanks to the clear tutorials, the game's systems and mechanics are easy to learn but difficult to master. Thanks to its clear roadmap and feedback-based updates, Dune: Spice Wars has always been in Early Access
