Disney Lorcana continues – already in late autumn. Although there are many game fans who left empty-handed after the first wave of the trading card game was rolled out, the adventure continues in Ravensburger's new trading card game.
Disney Lorcana was only officially available for purchase on September 1st, but it didn't stay that way for long. The quotas quickly ran out in stationary retail, but things aren't looking much better in online shops. Some of the trading cards were sold out in stores after just a few hours. After all: Raensburger has already announced the reprint. Fans will still have the chance to secure tickets from “Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter”. For all those who are now well equipped, the adventure will continue - and soon, as is now clear from a platform entry from the French retailer “Ludivers”.
Disney Lorcana goes into the second round
It could have been purely a placeholder, but Ravensburger itself has now confirmed that the data provided is mostly correct. Particularly important: This also applies to the release date of Disney Lorcana: The Second Chapter.
Accordingly, the trading card game will enter its second round on November 17th. As with the game's launch, sales will take place in two steps. On December 1st the new cards for Disney Lorcan then also be available in other retail outlets and not just in specialized stores. In view of the recent hype, sales of the second wave are likely to be much quicker, as fans will now try even harder to get hold of the available tickets directly. The wait-and-see strategy didn't work when the trading card game was released, so a learning effect will set in. Added to this is the Christmas business that will then begin, which will not make the situation regarding card availability any better.
In addition to the sales dates for Disney Lorcana: The Second Chapter, some content has also become known. There will once again be two starter decks as well as accessories for “Mulan”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Raya and the Last Dragon” and “Winnie the Pooh”.
The new deck boxes will be released for Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon (2021 film) and Mulan. An Illumineer's Trove is also already registered as a pre-order product in the French shop. Included: a storage box, two deck boxes, eight booster packs, 15 tokens and instructions. However, it is unclear whether this is actually new content for Disney Lorcana.
