The six inks (amethyst, amber, ruby, sapphire, emerald and steel) were released by the flood and mixed together. When Legendary or Dreamform Glimmers encountered this mixed ink, a force transformed them into Floodform Glimmers. The magical ink poured out of the Illuminarium, taking with it precious legends, including Disney's King Triton's mighty trident.
