Microids is pleased to announce that Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch is commercially available. Game fans who already own Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR for PSVR2 can access the non-VR version of the game for free. Likewise, those who purchase the game for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 can enjoy both virtual reality mode and traditional mode.
Players return to the world of the iconic arcade game Operation Wolf, which was developed and published by TAITO in 1987 and, as one of the first games with a horizontally scrolling rail shooter, influenced an entire generation of gamers. Developed by French studio Virtuallyz Gaming, Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission stays true to the spirit of the original game while taking a new artistic direction. Thanks to gameplay that focuses entirely on non-stop action, players will find themselves transported back to the world of the 80s.
